Every Local 25 member completes a four-year, registered apprenticeship and continues training as a journeyperson throughout their career. That training is governed by the Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) — a partnership between Local 25 and our signatory contractors that ensures every member meets the highest standards in the industry.

Yes. Local 25 is a member of the New Jersey State Building & Construction Trades Council, is affiliated with the AFL-CIO, and is a member of the International Association of Sheet Metal, Air, Rail and Transportation Workers (SMART) — a continentwide union with locals across the U.S. and Canada.
